Marrakesh Airport Duty Free
At Marrakesh Menara Airport, there is the main duty-free shop where you can purchase goods. Make sure you get there early enough to take advantage of the chance to browse the duty-free shop and other shops in the airport. The shop is well stocked with a variety of items including perfumes, cigarettes, and alchohol.
The best brands of cosmetics, chocolates, purses, clothing, sweets, sunglasses, eyeglasses, and soft toys are also available for purchase by passengers at the duty-free shop. There are many other different types of shops, including clothes stores, superstores, and gift and hobby stores within the terminal.

Duty Restrictions
The following products are exempt from customs duty and may be imported into Morocco:
- 150ml of perfume or 250ml of eau de toilette.
- 1 litre of spirits and 1 litre of wine.
- 400g of tobacco products, 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars.
- Gifts to the value of Dh2,000.
Are goods purchased duty-free tax-free?
The answer to this really depends on your destination. The Duty-Free shops at the airport are open to all travellers, but only those leaving the EU are able to purchase tax-free goods. Items that say “only for people travelling outside the EU” have green labelling. Tax is already included in the price of the items offered to travellers within the EU.
The following products can be brought into UK from Morocco:
Tobacco: Passengers are allowed 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250g of boxed tobacco. Also passengers are allowed to bring 200 sticks of tobacco for E-cigarettes into the UK.
Alcohol: The allowance for alcohol is 18L of still wine but just 4L of spirits. Beer to the total of 42L can be brought through customs or 9L of fortified or sparkling wine.
Electronic items including souvenirs up to the value of £390 can be brought in tax free.
