Transport Services at Marrakesh Airport

There are a number of options available at RAK Marrakesh airport. There is a bus service from the airport into Marrakech city. If you prefer to go by taxi there are a number of taxi companies offering their services. However the most popular is to pre-book an airport transfer, and have the driver wait for you, then chauffeur you to your destination.

There are regular bus routes straight out of the airport. These tend to get busy and if you have a fair amount of luggage it may be advisable to pre book a taxi.

Whether travelling alone or in a large group they can accommodate you with a friendly meet and greet service right from the arrivals hall.

The journey time from Marrakech airport to the centre of Marrakech is approximately 12 minutes depending on the traffic. It is cost effective to book a taxi if travelling as a couple or a group, as the price ranges from about €5.00 in the day to €7 in the evening.

The driver will be waiting for your just outside the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name on it. If you book with Welcome Pickup they provide a fantastic service. A day or two before your pickup they send you an email with the details of the taxi driver, his name, phone, and a photo.

There is no problem, if you arrive early or your flight is delayed. The driver will have received live updates on about your flight as so will adjust the pickup accordingly.
