Terminals
Marrakech airport has two passenger terminals. International and domestic flights arrive at both terminal 1 and terminal 3. Both terminals are easily accessed and are interconnected. Arrivals to the airport are located on the ground floor. Departures from the airport are located on the first floor.
Terminal 1 is a flight gateway for both international and regional travel. The architecture is modern bright and provide an excellent selection of services for the passenger. The terminal has a ground floor and an upper level for domestic and international arrivals and departures.
Terminal 3 is the latest addition to the airports expansion. This also serves domestic and international arrivals and departures. Both terminals are easily accessed and are linked together.
VIP Terminal is located adjacent to the VIP lounge. Operated by Swissport this lounge provides dedicated executive services for up to 40 passengers at any given time.

How far is Marrakesh airport to the city?
It is 6km or 4.5 mile West of the city. It takes about 20 minutes by car/taxi. The airport is reached by a good highway system linking the airport with the major road links. The R212 highway runs from the airport to Marrakech and is easy to navigate.
How early do you need to be at the airport for departure?
Generally, you need to be at the airport 3 hour prior to departure. However, some airlines stipulate passengers arrive 3-4 hours before a scheduled flight. However, if you are flying with hold luggage it is advised all passengers allow plenty of time prior to departure.
Can I hire a car at Marrakesh airport?

How much does a taxi cost from Marrakech Menara airport to the city centre?
The average fare for 2024 is approximately €5.00 during the day and €7 at night. Depending on the time of day and traffic you can expect to pay a little extra. Taxi transfers can be pre-booked online or arranged by most hotels in Marrakech.
Is there a bus service from RAK airport?
There are a number of buses that take you from the Marrakesh Menara airport. The regular No.19 bus will depart every 20 minutes and journey time usually takes 40 minutes to the city centre from where you can make a connection to another location.
